Stephen Ira
Stephen Ira is a poet, critic, filmmaker, and performer. He lives in New York. Stephen’s poetry and prose have appeared in venues like Fence, DIAGRAM, the Poetry Project Newsletter, TSQ*Now, Poetry, and tagvverk. He’s curated readings at places like the Brooklyn Rail, New York Live Arts, and BGSQD. In 2019, he received an MFA in poetry from the Iowa Writers’ Workshop. In 2013, he was a Lambda Literary Fellow. During his time as a poetry editor at the speculative magazine Strange Horizons, it was nominated for a Hugo Award.
